Greetings
It's go go go with my sister here, seeing the sights and enjoying the food, then of course there was the football;
What have we been up to this sunny fun filled weekend?
Well amongst other things we had a drive to the temple at Doi Saket and took a stroll up the steps to the Buddha;
And at the top Tim lit a candle so he wouldn't be eaten by the tigers;
Then back down the steps;
It is stunning there, recommended as a trip...
Later, being a Saturday a stroll into the city and the Red Lion;
And after a fair bit of food and drink it was time to stagger home 😁
Sunday came around in what seemed like an instant and we got into the car and took the monsters up Thailand's highest mountain, Doi Inthanon.
We were charged ฿600 for the 3 foreigners to go in, they either forgot to charge Pin and as a bonus we didn't tell them about the monsters...
First stop, Wachirathan Waterfall where eating was to be done before sightseeing;
Then a look at the waterfall itself;

Once we had cleaned the spray from our specs, it was time to go to the chedi where they thought we were all Thai's so only charged us ฿50 each.

a couple of tasty coffees later it was up to the summit;
A rather enjoyable time at Doi Inthanon, but wait, home showered and changed it was time to get to the Red Lion again.
The Clarets were playing and on the big screen;
What a stunning weekend and to top it all...
