Greetings.
We went to the sea side last week, just for a break as we had been virtually nowhere since Covid threw the world into chaos and fear.
It is May 2022 now, two and a half years since the beast took hold and still, Thailand in particular has no real plan or idea how to progress and so, despite the talk, Thailand is very quiet indeed, if you own a bar you have to pretend it is a restaurant so the authorities don't have you down as a place of fun.
Lets see how the mega resort of Pattaya had weathered the pandemic...
Here is the drive down;
When we got there we found the access road was a mud track due to extensive road works. We were not happy about that but it wasn't the hotels fault.
The hotel itself was pretty good, especially as an essential for a family outing is that they take dogs. The room was good and if the access had not been under repair the location would have been very good as well, here is a look at the hotel;
Then out for a wander
You take your life in your hands on Soi Buakhao!
Here are a few more snaps of the evening;
Yes there are some holidaymakers around but far far from the Pattaya of old.
We settles on Kiss to eat;
